Following the dairy crisis in 2010, La Ferme de Bourgogne initially reduced its milk production, before eventually stopping altogether and opening horse boarding.
Wanting to pivot, and out of curiosity and a love for brewing, its owner, Jean-François Rigo, completed two years of training in micro-brewing at IFAPME in Villers-le-Bouillet.
Jean-François has just opened his microbrewery and is selling his first beer: "Lî Cinse de Bourgogne", a triple amber beer. Visitors can sample the brew in the tasting room, alongside other local and organic beers, wine and soft drinks, as well as cheese plates, thanks to a partnership with the Fromagerie du Samson.
